They had the table decorated for us with white tablecloths and candles without us asking. The service was fantastic! As a restaurant veteran of 20 years, I cannot rave enough about Stacey and how she went above and beyond any expectations we had! They made my wife and I feel so special, and even had someone go out and source some N/A beers, because there were none on site! The food was great, and coursed appropriately, and they put up with our high maintenance dining requests without pause. Great pimento crab dip and the rockfish and oysters were highlights from the menu!We will return again and again based on this experience and hope to see everyone again soon at Portside Grill!
Melissa was the most awesome bartender! So friendly and accommodating! And Victoria, with her tech prowess, was just as fantastic. Definetly the main reason I frequent this place. If anyone should get a raise, please put these two beautiful ladies on top of the list.I have been fortunate enough to have the above mentioned dynamic duo each visit but I must mention Dillon. He has exceeded all my expectations regarding the masterpieces from the kitchen! Please reward these individuals, i am sure I am not the only one that appreciates the hard work and fantastic service they provide!!!
Had dinner here this past weekend. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. Drinks were delicious. Enjoyed the water view from the patio. Thanks!
Terrible experience from the moment we arrived. We wanted to sit outside but even though there were empty tables with dirty dishes on them the staff told us the wait was over an hour, while ONLY ONE table was occupied inside the restaurant. Here's what I know....if it had dirty dishes on top of those 2 tables, then those tables could have been cleaned off and we could have sat outside to enjoy our dinner. But the answer was no.It wasn't that there wasn't staff ... Because 5 waitresses were talking together about the fact that they couldn't sit us outside..... So we sat inside. When we finally did get our appetizers we had to ask for silverware. The blonde waitress looked absolutely bewildered, like a deer in headlights.... Because silverware or eating utensils didn't register ... Until I asked for a fork!!!!The oyster po'boy had more pickles than oysters in it. The hand cut french fries were half burnt to the color of brown and the amount of salt made them unbearable to eat.Needless to say, I am not sure how this restaurant won best in any categories in the magazine THE RIVAH.
This place was great! We sat ourself and had a great view of the marina. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good. My boyfriend ordered the Rattler pasta and it was also so good.
