Gandhi Utrecht

I like this place very much at my first visit. You can taste many Nordic Indian dishes. Many Dutch people are also there for dinner. I like everything I tasted. Quality and quantity is very good. Very satisfied with Gandhi Indiaas Restaurant.

Nice place, centrally located. We loved the view of the water. We had authentic Indian food. We were a group of 8 and ordered many dishes. All the dishes we ordered were so beautiful with a lot of taste. We started with pappadam and chutney. Lamb curry with spinach was my favorite. Her chicken bryani, too. There was also an extensive list of drinks. You have many local drinks, spirits and hot drinks. We had Indian Chai who had a beautiful cardamom taste. The staff is friendly, professional. Place is very clean. We will definitely be back on our next holiday!!

Great food! The decor inside is not great, but it is compensated for with the food. Unreal near original Indian food to find here! One of the best curries I had in Europe is what I had here!! Very recommended. You will not be disappointed..

After reading rather mixed reviews, we where in doupt on whether to dine here or not. We decided to try it and where most pleasantly suprised. Althought it feels like you enter through the back (which is a shortcoming of the building itself), the hall itself is pleasant, especially near the hearth. The service was quite responsive and proper, the food just excellent. We both really enjoyed our meals and left the place stuffed and happy.
