We went back the other week, as our regular place (Wimpys) had no service. Breakfast was very good and so was the service. I was about to update my review when I fell on the other day for the takeover. I order eggs and bacon... sandwich and guess what. He's back to his old trick. When I was first in the door, I was served Bacon last night. When I went to my sandwich, the bacon was like shoe leather and came in a piece of bread. He just doesn't get it.
I recently visited this restaurant to give it one last chance, but unfortunately, I was not impressed. The bread was stale, the bacon was low quality, and the home fries were tasteless. It's a shame to see the decline in quality from the days when there used to be a line out the door. It seems like there is now too much competition in the city.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I ordered 5 strips of crispy bacon, hot freshly prepared house fries, rye toast, and a perfectly cooked egg. The place was bustling on a Tuesday morning, but still very clean. The coffee was great, and the waitress was friendly and pleasant. I will definitely be returning in the future.
Really on its last legs. gone are those days of line ups out the door. they played with a winning formulae too much and out priced themselves
