There were 4 of us and we all had the menu €n24 which is a starter, main and dessert with a glass of wine 3 cokes and a large picon beer and the bill was €129 We recommend the cafe du cours ..try it you wont be disappointed Friendly staff and good service
France can be tricky if you want to eat on a Monday evening, especially in the country. Lots of restaurants are closed because they were open all week-end. A friend suggested we try this local bistro and truly we did not expect much because at...that point its redeeming feature was that it was open. I am delighted to say we were treated to not only a delicious meal but a memorable night under plane trees on a warm Rhône Valley evening. Their specialty is barbecued meat on a skewer, but they have other dishes as well and they are served with sides of vegetable and potato. My wife had the boeuf daube Provencal and it was delicious (I know because I stole a bite! and I had the beef kebab. Plus, the Café is in Vacqueyras so you KNOW they will have good wine. Modest prices, good food, great wine and ambiance galore – now that’s a winning combination.
Excellent cuisine. One of the best cuisine in Avignon. The dishes are delicious and sought-after
At the top We saw the advertising board at the entrance to Vacqueyras, we went there, verdict: perfect The room, the reception, the kitchen. The Vacqueyras stew and its very good tagliatelle. And a very friendly welcome Coffee served on the terrace in the sun to finish at the top I recommend the establishment
