Milton's South Express - Vadodara

Very popular among Barodians. If you want to taste authentic south indian delicacies with an authentic ambience then Milton's is surely a great option. They provide good quantity of Sambhar and variety of chutneys to enjoy with your food. Also the interiors are beautiful with pictures of classical dance artists. I loved the design of the ceiling!! And last but most importantly this place is very affordable. You get more than sufficient quantity of food at very reasonable pocket friendly price. This place is a must visit.

Spring cheese dosa was good, others were just ok-ish

Visited the recently opened Milton's south express this Sunday. Luckily we were on time and didn't have to wait. Located in Alkapuri, it serves really good south Indian food. We started with filter coffee which was very good. Then we had rasam shots, jeera rasam and lemon rasam. Pretty good. Then we had cheese tomato omlet. It was average and can be avoided. For dosa we tried coconut rawa masala dosa, Mysore masala dosa, paper dosa, onion rawa masala dosa. All of them were very good. Can skip the paper dosa. Also we had mix uttapam. Special mention for our favorite, idli bhaji. It was just awesum. And we ended with medu wada, it was piping hot but very very very oily. Can skip it also. Ambience was fairly decent. Service was very slow. But food quality and taste was very good. Overall, a nice place for a family dinner. Would be visiting again for filter coffee for sure. It would be great to have the typical Malabar parotha and korma on the menu. Missed thst. @vadodarafoodbook recommended filter coffee, idli bhaji, lemon rasam, onion rawa malasa dosa.

Best place to have authentic south Indian food.. lovely aunty on the desk... and must order green cheese dosa.. its lovely...

One of the best filter coffee in town. They serve authentic south indian specialities like upma, Tatte idli, wada sambhar, pineapple halwa which are a must try!!
