As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find an extensive menu filled with traditional Indian dishes, making it a haven for anyone looking to savor the true taste of India. The ambiance of Annapurna is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and traditional Indian décor that immediately transports you to India. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for those unfamiliar with the cuisine. One of the highlights of my meal was the Dal Makhni. This dish was cooked to perfection, with the lentils slow-cooked in a creamy sauce that was rich and flavorful. It had the right balance of spices, making it a comforting dish that warms the soul. Another standout dish was the Baingan Bharta. The smoky, roasted eggplant was mashed and cooked with tomatoes, onions, and spices, creating a dish that was both hearty and satisfying. The flavors were well-balanced, and it paired beautifully with the garlic naan. The menu also offers a wide variety of other vegetarian options, from paneer tikka to chana masala, ensuring that every palate is catered to. And no Indian meal is complete without a cup of chai, and Annapurna’s chai does not disappoint. The fragrant tea, spiced with cardamom and ginger, was the perfect end to a delightful meal. In conclusion, Annapurna Indian Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian food. With its extensive vegetarian menu delicious Dal Makhni, and flavorful Baingan Bharta, it’s a place where every dish is a celebration of Indian cuisine. Highly recommended
I recently visited the only Halal restaurant in Vail, CO, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. I called ahead at 7:55 PM to place an order, and I was informed that the food would be ready by 8:45 PM. However, upon arrival, I was told that the food was still not prepared and was made to wait an additional 20 minutes. Additionally, the goat curry I ordered was undercooked, leading to the meal being inedible. Overall, I was disappointed with both the service and the quality of the food.
Food was really good and service was excellent. Chana masala and korma are must try.
This Annapurna restaurant is a gem! The Chicken Chau chau are incredibly delicious, and the rice and different curries are both comforting and flavorful. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Nepali and Indian flavors. We will be visiting soon.
The authentic taste of nepal and India is immaculate. We had a family lunch there. The flavour and service were so good. If you are planning to visit vail, it is a go to place for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend?
