We were lucky enough to get a table yesterday l in this lovely little mountain restaurant as we arrived for an early lunch. The owner was very welcoming and the food was excellent, traditional, locally-sourced fare. My husband was particularly impressed with the wine list and we are looking forward to our next visit. A real gem.
Turn right at the top of the Tougnette 2 lift, follow the ridge towards Jerusalem run, and it is there on your left with a view over the St Martin de
Wow - maybe we just hit them on a good day but the food was fantastic: we had two great steaks, an omelette, cooked perfectly, and "the best mushroom pasta ever!" (Crozets). Great service, good value, and the best homemade condiments I've come across.
We've visited often over the years. The menu remains much the same, as does the atmosphere, the very pleasant friendly service where our waiter this visit regaled us with tales of his prowess (ok, not everyone's taste perhaps), excellent food - the Tartiflette, the steak. All simple dishes but well done and generous. And despite the recent review of John;s (who provoked this response) it is very good value for such a splendidly situated restaurant.
