Schnitzelstoba Vandans

The Schnitzelstoba restaurant is located in the Vandans outdoor pool and is therefore full and noisy when the weather is good. A reservation is recommended, but it wasn't possible for us because nobody answered the phone during the opening times (according to the website). We were lucky and got a table at 6pm. The food was ok (pepper cream schnitzel, slightly over seasoned) or good (cordon bleu). The small portions are perfectly adequate, even for hungry adults. The kid's separate portion of fries came in a disposable cardboard box that's ok for the outdoor pool, but not if you're eating in a restaurant. Disposable is absolutely out, especially in restaurants. The service was unfriendly and disinterested, both when ordering and when bringing the food and drinks. Parking: Use outdoor pool car park but can be full in good weather.
