Contribuisci feedbackAfter many years, just a good choice to dinate in vandoeuvres (cheval blanc), we are so happy to have a new management and great team take over the auberge de vandoeuvres. a beautiful and attractive decor, with a friendly and professional team and...a varied menu that is superb is certainly a go-to address if they want a casual good meal. to all — great addition to neighbourship.
We visited yesterday, after more than two years of break and were not disappointed. Everything was good. from service to eating and glooming.
An excellent location with a friendly ambiente with a series of return customers. eating is fresh and tasty and the wine selection is original. the terrace is very beautiful in summer.
We were looking for a place that is open to lunch on Sunday to celebrate the birthday of a friend. not too many options. and we finally decided to try the auberge de Vandœuvres, although it is far from where we live. we had no regrets. a wonderful time. the auberge is stylish and spacious. the service is very friendly (both the owners and the waiters). we had a beautiful velouté of green as a starter, then wetare of bark and filet de perches. served with an salat, beautifully made in crispy sauces and tiny frits. for the gloomy of caffe gourmand (see the picture) and the cream brûlée. we ordered a pitcher water and a few sparkling water. a bottle of red wine and two glasses of white house wine. both red and white wine were excellent. we were five at the party. the bill came to about chf 60 per person. we had a wonderful lunch. I highly recommend this place.
Sortie ce samedi soir avec une amie centenaire. Accueil agréable dans ce restaurant un peu vieillot qui mériterait unCoup de rajeunissement. Nous choisissons deux terrines et un feuilleté asperges-morilles. Les terrines goûteuses, l'une en croûte, l'autre de canard sont un régal, évidemment maison. Nous poursuivons les trois avec une grosse raviole au homard avec une sauce homardine savoureuse et de petites billes de légumes crochants. Le chariot de desserts, devenu si rare fait rêver: tarte au vin blanc vaudois, tarte au citron, des petits babas au rhum fondants merveilleux, des œufs à la neige etc ou une palette de glaces et sorbets. Un enchantement pour toute la tablée. Choix de vins locaux genevois au verre ou en bouteille. Service compétent par la patronne et Monsieur aux fourneaux. Nous y reviendrons.
