Simple dishes made with simple ingredients can be delicious. That is what I am looking for in Cyprus, among other things. Quality in simplicity. However, if you do it wrong, little of a dish will be left. Pieces of tomato and cucumber so large that you almost have to cut them yourself again. No seasoning (or garnish). Fine. I would also like to do that myself, but preferably not with a dripping vinegar bottle, broken oil bottle and the quality of the oil and vinegar was also poor. A simple dish requires good ingredients and balanced preparation. This was “ingredients on a plate” and not a dish. Of course it could be bad luck given the other reviews. The worst tavern in Cyprus , very bad quality of food , very bad service. We ordered something and they didn’t come to say we don’t have it as result the half of us didn’t eat on time.
