Croissant Co - Venice

I have no words. the best French bakery we've ever been in the usa. it's like making a bakery in france. the chocolates are my absolute favorite. full of delicious chocolate mousse?

Been here twice. Once for a chocolate croissant and once for a mixed berry beignet. Both were very tasty and very fresh. Love it!

My group and I were walking past while discussing if we should stop in for lunch when someone had overheard us. This person highly recommended the cafe so we went for it and we were so glad we did!Everything we had was excellent. My husband and I (currently residing in the Chicago suburbs) both agreed that we desperately wished we had something even remotely similar to this establishment in our area.And although the food was great what really stood out to me was the attentive staff. Every staff member was friendly and diligent in making sure we had a good experience.I also want to make note that this cafe is VERY reasonably priced. I had seen complaints in other reviews and don’t understand the gripe. It is 2022 and between the impact on the food industry left by COVID-19 and the rise of business costs due to limited supplies/shipping issues higher prices should be expected when dining out. I will gladly spend a few (although really maybe $1 or $2) extra dollars to support a local business.

Stopped by for egg salad sandwich. They were out of croissants so we had it on a fresh baguette. However when we received our sandwiches it was literally a hunt for the egg! For $10+ a piece I would expect to find a bit more egg in it. After all, eggs are not too expensive and I would say we had one a piece in our sandwiches. On the positive side, the bread was delicious, the waitress sweet and the place was clean. Won’t be going back for lunch there though.

The pastries at this restaurant are excellent, and the staff is great. The doors open at 8 o'clock, and there is always a line. I ordered the celestial twist and a pain au chocolat, both of which were delicious. The hot chocolate was good, but the cappuccino was just okay.
