Thai Express - Verdun

The service at this restaurant was very lacking. The staff could not speak English or French, and customers had to choose their orders based on a letter on the menu, which even then they got wrong. I received chicken instead of pork chops, and my shrimp dish had fallen shrimp. When I called to ask for compensation, I was given a cold response saying they couldn't help. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

In the corner of this chain restaurant location, there is a small counter at the back of the establishment that is leased to a Vietnamese baguette, noodle, and soup counter. The owner of this counter previously ran the best Vietnamese soup restaurant in Lasalle, which unfortunately closed last year. However, it was a pleasant surprise to see them return in this new location. They now only offer one dish - a won ton noodle soup - but it is absolutely delicious and very affordable! They also sell Vietnamese style baguette sandwiches and noodle plates. After discovering this hidden gem, we have become regular customers eager to try everything on their menu.

I stopped by Thai Express in desperate need of food. The initial waitress was friendly when she approached me, asking if I had any dietary restrictions. Soon after, the chef came to prepare my meal, but their chopping was a bit rough and they seemed somewhat unfriendly. The food itself was not very satisfying. It seemed like they had a lot going on and were a bit overwhelmed.

Very bad service. Does not speak english or french. You need to choose menu according to letter next to it. Even that they can't get right. Since they gave me chicken instead of beef pad. My shrimp pad had litterally 3 shrimps. When I called to get compensation. The answer was a cold... "We can't help you". AVOID AT ALL COST

In the Verdun location of this chain of restaurants ,there is a small counter at the back of the local that is rented to a Vietnamese baguette,noodle and soup counter.This is the same Lady who owned the best Viet.Soup restaurant in Lasalle,but closed last year.So it was nice to see her back in the area ,making only one won ton noodle soup,BUT, it is delicious and the price is really cheap!!!They are only allowed to sell Vietnamese style baguette sandwiches,one type of soup and one noodle plate,,,,,,but so tasty ,since finding out about her counter ,we are back as regular customers,,,,try it......
