Jack's Place - Victoria

Service was great. Our server was so sweet and always there when we needed her. Unfortunately the food was the worse food we had eaten in a long time. Pretty much did not touch a single thing except for a few nacho chips. They seem to have a lot of food but can't seem to nail down any of them. The bartender also was not very experienced. The martini was quite bad. Probably a great place to drink beer and watch games but thats about it.

We always enjoy coming up to Bear Mountain. Came here with our kids the other night and had a great meal. Everyone was happy. The staff were great, food tasty and a great atmosphere!

Icky. I ate at Jacks Place twice during a brief stay at Fairways Hotel on the mountain. Both times something gross happened. The first night I ordered a martini and the olives were spoiled. They took the drink off my bill, which was appreciated. The food was fine although the “spicy” noodle bowl was bland. A couple days later I had lunch (fish and chips) and the malt vinegar they brought was disgusting and sticky on the outside of the bottle with flies crawling up the inside. Some of the chips were still frozen. Before we left I went to the restroom and of course wanted to wash my hands-no soap, no paper towels. In summary, this place is gross.

We had our rehearsal dinner here for our August 2023 wedding. The staff was VERY patient, kind and accommodating of our 40 person reservation. The food and drinks are also great! Very fun and casual atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The Chicken Prawn Linguine was served steaming hot absolutely delectable! I would definately highly recommend this establishment to anyone. The service was professional, courteous we received our fresh meals so incredibly fast. My husband was pleasantly surprised by how delicious his homemade hamburger tossed salad were given the previous poor reviews? Well done Jack's !!! As we'll definately be returning ...
