Please also visit the shop in front of location, which sells beautiful, vibrant, Zimbabwe-made products.
Strong recommendation if they stay at victoria in case. that's so nice to be. the staff was great, the dinner was authentic and delicious. you can feel the love, sarah and her team have set themselves at this place. we were particularly pleased that everything is set up to strengthen women in the community.
My man visited dusty road during our stay in victoria in case. it was such a beautiful experience. the staff is very friendly and eating is delicious. the place is decorated and built with so much love and wonderful details. we would all recommend visiting the dusty road and supporting their cause, sustainably helping the local community.
Must have experience when it falls overnight in victoria! recommended by our hotel manager, was a little leary from a tourist, bus trip experience; but a few moments of each other sarahs cookbook in our lobby convinces us to try it. if you want a beautiful climax in the township life, please try. eating was delicious, healthy, mainly planted, with local native ingredients and seasoning. the personal service of the cook/owner and the interaction with local women whose families depend on it make this a very unique evening
This place is just amazing. I can’t believe it did not show up in any of the google searches about VF. It was recommended by our hotel after I told them I wanted something really authentic and not like the touristy show in Boma restaurant. Dusty road is own by a very creative Zimbabwean woman and the place is run by 14 women. Here you can not only find authentic local food but they also show you all the different ingredients and explain how they prepare the dishes. The decoration of the restaurant is very eclectic and beautiful. They also have a small gift shop. They have a fixed menu for lunch and one for dinner, and they take credit card. If you want to experience real Zimbabwe, this is the place.
