Great place to bring family. Good view...

This restaurant, serving good honest Spanish food with generous portions, is set high on the hilltop above Vigo with splendid views of the town and sea. You can walk in the area and trek up above the restaurant for 360 degree views of the surrounding area. The restaurant is a big space with lots of outside seating and friendly staff. We started with tapas we ordered calamari, mussels and fried peppers. The fried calamari easily feeds two and to our surprise, the mussels were chopped up with potato, stuffed back into the shell, breaded and deep fried delicious. We finished with a large plate of prawns and flan dessert all washed down with some house wine for 56 euros for two. Good value. It's a bit cold in the big room in the winter months so bring a coat.

A nice forest park to come with children, there is an artificial pond with occasionally aggressive geese and great views of the city and bay.
