Villanova was very busy and we had not booked and so most restaurants were full. Quorum had a number of spaces and so we thought we would try them having not eaten there before. We won’t be coming back. On the busiest night of the year they had just two serving staff and what appeared to be no system. We sat at a table and waited 15 mins to get a menu. Soon after we ordered some drinks and some food. And we waited. Multiple tables came along complaining about not receiving drinks or food. We were sat within view of the kitchen and bar. The kitchen was churning out food but a large pile of prepared food sat and did not move. We watched one dish sit there for 30 mins we suspected it was ours. Servers had no idea what table had ordered what, after 30 Mins waiting for our drinks we were about to walk out and the server came over to re order as they had miss placed our order. Drinks eventually arrived. The wait continued. We had ordered a salad, some muscles and a rice dish for all of us to share. We asked for it all to come together. Eventually after nearly 1.5 hrs the salad arrived but no muscles. We asked where the muscles where and our rice dish and they had forgotten the muscles. By now our kids were getting upset as they were hungry and we were eating later than usual. Some 15 mins later the muscles and a little later the rice arrived. What was possible the smallest portion of muscles we have ever seen. Eventually the rice arrived as the fireworks started. So now our kids are crying as the entire point of coming out was to see the fireworks. We wolfed down the rice which was ok and went to the bar to get the bill while the kids stood at the door of the restaurant so they could see the fire works or at least some of them. They had a computer system, but it clearly they were not using it, so manually our order had to go in. Once again they had no idea what we had. They could see we were not happy along with just about every customer in the restaurant and gave us the drinks for free. It did not really make up for totally spoiling our evening. In summary totally disorganised restaurant. Fairly expensive food, average at best taste, terrible service although it has to be said the servers were trying there best. No management. Best avoided.
Servei eficaç i amable, Repetirem!. We ordered the menu and in the second we ordered paella. We did not know the restaurant but it was a surprise because the rice was delicious and tasty and we were able to repeat it. Efficient and friendly service. We will repeat!
We had lunch today in Quorum. It’s located in the sea side, near several other restaurants. They serve tapas, seafood, paella... nothing remarkable. The seafood paella came 45minutes after we had finished the tapas... quite a long wait. And it was just an average paella. The tapas (shrimps, shells, octopuss and chipirones) were ok. The staff was quite friendly. The price was also not too expensive (30€/person), but I’m sure you can have better food for a similar price somewhere else.
Title says it all. The food was fine and not too expensive but was just average. I wouldn't go back. The service was very pleasant which is why I have given 3 stars rather than 2 stars.
Calamar paella y entrecot con guarnición. menú entre semana de 15 euros. gran calidad y grandes raciones. La paella fue increíble. El servicio es muy amable. Puedes cambiar el postre para el café. los fines de semana hay una carta, también de calidad y variada.
