I have never seen such confusing marketing; no colors, font, or brands matched the upwards of 5 different signs both on and around the parking lot entrance. THE FOOD DELIVERY WAS CONFUSING Besides the perplexing travel and arrival, the service was kind and courteous. There was a flaw in their half-cafe style. Granted, we were the only customers, but it was not clear how our food would be served to us, if at all. So we picked up at the order window after some guy told us our food was ready. THE SERVICE WAS NICE The order taker was patient, giving and kind, but we were shocked to pay 1.75 for water. PRICES WERE REASONABLE Highly recommend for their pricing is well suited for a quick snack or a large party sharing, which is how we dined. THE BUILDING WAS CLEAN, SHINY, NEW New building set to have a brewery installed soon (as of august 2017). THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS I have to praise the treatment of the smoked turkey. I would have preferred it pulled not sliced, but it was moist and tender! Their blue corn muffin was spectacular and an absolute must try!! Hush puppies were grand and I couldn't get enough. The honey mustard was the best I have had. AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT Women's bathroom needs napkin receptacles in the stalls. OVERALL Worth the trip, if you know where it is! Can't wait to go back and annoy a good brew with my BBQ! Hoping that their venue will aid in live music next summer.
This is our go-to place for truly good barbecue. We were there today (8-21-16) and as usual, enjoyed our ribs and pulled pork very much. The price is not cheap, but here, you get what you pay for. The service is friendly and on point, and the nearest place that Rubbin' Butts compares with is Baker's Barbecue in Greenville, Texas, which we visited in February.
Best BBQ around the area. Will accommodate for those who are gluten free.
The paradise rib platter is fantastic, PLENTY of food and loaded w sauce. The ribs flake off w a fork they are so tender.
Order anything! It's all good!
