Set Back Inn - Village of Tarrytown

Great little dive bar down in Tarrytown , plenty of TVs if you want to watch a game , they also have a pool table and darts in the back !! Has an awesome classic bar feel to it, with the old wood bar !! My kinda bar !!

Great dive bar with super friendly staff. Be warned in advance, though, they are cash only but do have an ATM. They have a full bar and lots of beer choices but only 3 on tap. TouchTunes is here and the music plays at a good volume. I had a great time!

My favorite spot when I went to college in this town many many many years ago. Happy to see it's still thriving and better than ever. Love the updates and the friendly crowds. Still a good place to have a few drinks with friends, listen to music and play a game of pool.

Really glad I found this spot. Really great craft beer selection (bottles and cans). Bartenders are quick. No nonsense local spot. Probably a great spot before a Music Hall show once the pandemic is over. Looking forward to getting back!

The Setback Inn is your typical dive bar and if you're a fan of dive bars this can very well be the designated bar for you and your friends to go and unwind. Came here last night with my girlfriend I'm not too sure if Sunday's are a slow night or if the time we got there was just an off time but as we were leaving at around 10pm it seemed to start getting more customers. I should probably mention here that this is a CASH ONLY bar. They have an ATM machine when you first walk in to the left if you need to pull out cash. I can't imagine this bar is known for their beers on tap seeing as how they only have 3 taps BUT they have a crazy menu of different bottled beers and I was impressed with the variety they had. The service was great I didn't catch the bartenders name, but she was nice and attentive. She never let our beers sit there empty, and always came back to our side to see if we needed anything. There's a jukebox to play whatever tunes you'd like, a pool table, a dart board which I personally like, and they have a couple big screen TVs for you to catch the game. Overall this place gets 4-stars from me. Can't ask for anything else at a divey bar like this one.
