Flaco's Mexican Specialties Steak House

This place was amazing!! I love Mexican food in general, but this place was the best. If i could i would come here every day. The severs were nice and everything was great.

Food portions are pretty large and had lots of leftovers. I could have done without the order of tamales as they were dry and bland. Good service, friendly servers until we got the bill. I asked for a sliced jalapeño and was charged $1.50, I thought it was way excessive. A request for hot sauce in a Mexican restaurant also had a $2.00 up charge! The bill was $92 a 20% gratuity was automatically added for a party of two which leads me to believe we were being profiled by the server. Unfortunately, this restaurant will be eliminated from the rotation due to the nickel and diming and the automatic addition of the gratuity. The hostess solicited a review, unfortunately she didn’t realize that I’m a professional mystery shopper. Never judge a book by its cover and never try to profile your customers.

Great Mexican food. Upscale place that's nice for a date night

Silvia and Rafael are amazing servers. We used to live in Naples and frequented Flacos all the time. We recently vacationed in Naples and had to return to our favorite Mexican restaurant!

Chips and salsa are addicting! Queso was the typical white queso. Food was fresh but their chicken is either shredded or “diced” which I would consider “strip-like” and not grilled chicken, which we prefer. Grilled chicken was not an option. Also the rice was a yellow rice instead of a Tex-Mex style rice. Service was slow but overall the food was good and I would go back just for the salsa alone!
