Casa Palomino Mexican

My husband and I love this restaurant. The environment is very calm and inviting and the food was great. We shared the fiesta platter, and loved all of it.

My wife ordered shrimp tacos. The shrimp had shells on the tails. She had to take the taco apart and remove the shells. Really???I broke my own rule of not patronizing a business where the owner doesn't respond to customer comments. The owner is disinterested and disconnected with his/her business.

Usually I go in on Thursday nights or some other nights to eat my carne asada fries; which are delicious! But the past few weeks my usual waitress hasn’t been there as much and I sure miss her, none of the other waitress compare. The one I had today just wasn’t as fast or attentive. I don’t know why she doesn’t work as often but she is one hell of a waitress, she has red and blonde hair. She is the sweetest waitress I have ever known and even when all the other waitresses are super mean to her and anyone around can see that she can work circles around them and they can’t keep up with their tables, she still comes up to us with a smile on her face and asks how we are doing. She is one of the reasons I keep coming back to casa palomino her smile is contagious and puts everyone in a better mood. She makes sure to always be there and she always tells us how she loves her job. I would love to see her soon for the next dinner I attend.

Nice pit stop from Mesa to Tucson. Not enough staff at the time, it was worth the wait, I'll be back.
