When my husband saw the generous portion on my plate, he suggested we share it. They do not serve alcohol, but if you bring your own and discreetly pour it into your glass, they turn a blind eye. The food was delicious and affordable. There is a wine shop across the street.
The falafel was made in front of me while I was paying, so I didn't have any input. Unfortunately, the beet was tough and lacked flavor. The falafel itself tasted undercooked, leaving a lingering raw chickpea taste in my mouth for hours. I've never had trouble finishing a falafel before, as I love both good and junky falafel, but this one was just not enjoyable.
Beat. The portions are generous, and the flavors are bold and delicious. The service was always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Montreal.
Falafel was assembled while I paid, so I had no say in toppings whatsoever.Few vegetables. Turnips were hard and flavourless. Falafel tasted raw, and I burped raw chickpea flavour for hours afterward. I have never failed to finish a falafel before this, I love good falafel and junk falafel alike, but this was inedible.
Do not lose your moneymedicore and insipid and the meal is malsert the salad and the qualite of unbearable meat. I'm sorry to go.
