I got a Doordash order at 7:09. I parked and walked up to the door at 7:10. There was a sign on the door saying they closed at 7:00, but my Dash app said 5 order was ready so I thought maybe they had prepared and could just give it to me. I stood outside the door and three people saw me and just gave me dirty looks. I started holding up my phone showing the Dash app and they continued to ignore me. Finally I called. To the first person, I said Hi, I 'm the one standing outside, I have a Doordash order and thought maybe you- and the girl on the phone said We closed at 7pm today and have signs on every door saying that. I replied, Yes I saw that, I was just checking because- and the line slammed on me. A few seconds later another person said, this is the other supervisor and we are closed. I explained politely that it just said the order was ready and she said they had turned off their Dash orders at 6pm. They were just so incredibly rude for no reason. Everyone who had looked at me or spoke to me seemed to lack even a shred of human decency. Extremely unpleasant.
In the middle of construction. They are keeping the area clean of debris.
Like all Happy Day restaurants, this location runs like a German train station. Well staffed, clean, great service, and always gives a good experience. The only reason I dock a star is because Happy Day restaurants tend to be a bit pricey when compared to other locations of the same franchise, and they are very stingy with the discounts. This location will reluctantly accept Arby's mobile-app deals for instance, but if you show up with paper coupons or vouchers that are expired, from a different location area, or simply that they don't recognize, you're often out of luck. This is contrary to other quick-service franchise locations that I frequently visit in Moscow (like McDonalds, KFC, and Taco Bell) who are very accepting of various offers and coupons I present. Discounts are one of the pillars of the highly competitive quick-service food industry. Franchise companies wouldn't constantly be offering them on their mobile apps if that weren't the case, and that fact simply is what it is. By not accepting discounts you end up sending potential customers elsewhere, and thus throw away dollars to save pennies.
