Mariscos La Perla - Waco

My new favorite restaurant in Waco. Service is amazing. Lunch. I was looking for something other than a sandwich. Ceviche appetizer could have been several meals by itself. Perfect fish tacos. And the best part... not another Tex-Mex joint. Honest, fresh Mexican seafood and great beer selection.

Very good Mexican seafood. Great atmosphere and sometimes they have live music.

My husband and I dined here twice last month, and we truly enjoyed both experiences. The food is authentic Mexican (not Tex-Mex), which gives you a taste of being on a beach in Mexico, even if you can't be there in person. The service was friendly and at just the right pace—not too rushed or overcrowded. We will definitely be returning regularly.

Without a doubt, these are the best shrimp tacos I've ever tasted, packed with the hottest jalapeños. We've visited this place several times and have consistently experienced excellent service and mouthwatering food. I get so caught up in the meal that I always forget to snap a photo first!

This was my first visit, and it exceeded my expectations. As soon as you walk in, you can feel the seafood atmosphere. The tacos were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The chips and salsa were fantastic as well. The service was both polite and friendly. I will definitely be returning!
