As a vegan in our group, finding restaurant options in smaller cities can sometimes be a challenge, but this restaurant surpassed our expectations with a variety of delicious vegan dishes. We also enjoyed sharing some fish and meat dishes, all of which were flavorful. This restaurant allows BYO wine for our group of six, making it a great choice for a fun dining experience.
I entered the main foyer and was met by the most blunt, cold, impolite person I have ever encountered working in a restaurant. This woman is described in great detail on other reviews and on other platforms. I made a general enquiry about availability of a table, I asked if there was anywhere private, away from everyone. The woman was condescending, rude, and screwed her face up and responded to me like I was a fool. Words cannot adequately describe her response to me. To give you an idea how bad it was, I turned around and walked out. I am pretty thick skinned and have never done that. This woman does not deserve your business, go elsewhere.
We were passing thru Wagga and were recommended to try this Indian restaurant. We got takeaway . The only thing edible was the pappadums , rice naan. The 3 dishes we ordered was like a trip to the rotten egg buffet. Something very off about all the sauces and the meat tasted old. We chucked it all out.
We were passing through Wagga and I fancied a curry. I chose a take away rogan josh, accompanied by vegetable pulao and naan. All were delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. The complimentary pappadums were some of the best I've ever tasted crisp, not oily, and with a lovely spicy flavour.
