Mellow Mushroom Wake Forest

Always excellent service at this location. We have been here probably a dozen times over the last few years, often new people serving it seems, but all the servers are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We are creatures of habit ... two of us with a half order of soft pretzels and beer cheese (the pretzels are awesome. Beer cheese last night was way off not sure what was wrong but usually it is exceptional , cold beers (always super cold yay! , and then the Mighty Meaty pizza (our hands down favorite, lots of toppings, incredible crust as our main course.

This is the best place I found for pizza. I was born and raised in Connecticut so New York style pizza was just around the corner. The pizza I get here has got great flavor and it's not hard and stiff or too soggy, and really good quality. I go here whenever I am hungry for a pizza

On a spontaneous Saturday outing with my son, we decided to visit this restaurant. We enjoyed our meal in the covered outdoor seating area (just a tip: secure your napkins with something heavy!). There was a bean bag toss game set up outside, which added to the fun. The staff, mostly teenagers, were all very friendly. The food was excellent, and we decided to share a dessert. It was a bit on the pricey side for me, but I suppose it's reasonable for the area.

On Saturday afternoon, I stopped in for a quick bite and was seated right away by a very friendly hostess. Although the restaurant was busy for a Saturday lunchtime, it didn't feel overcrowded. Our drink orders were taken and served promptly. We decided on a gluten-free pepperoni pizza and a steak and cheese hoagie. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, but the wait was definitely worth it. I've found that gluten-free crust can be hit or miss when dining out, but Mellow hit the mark with theirs. The steak and cheese hoagie was also excellent, and both dishes arrived fresh and hot. This may not be the best spot if you're in a hurry, but if you have a little extra time, I highly recommend it!

The pizza here is fantastic! We ordered a large pepperoni and veggie pizza at the bar, and it was ready in no time. The staff were very friendly. It was my first time trying sliced tomatoes on a pizza, and I really enjoyed it! However, the area behind the bar could use some updating based on how it looked. A little note to the bartenders could help patrons better understand the menu or specials.
