I usually get takeout but I would love it if they had an all-you-can-eat option. I especially love their platters. I was enjoying one with a co-worker and forgot to take a picture until we had already eaten half of it!
I really enjoy sushi! It's the one thing I miss the most about living in the city - having access to a variety of foods, especially sushi. The prices are fair, the waitress is friendly and efficient, but the highlight is definitely the delicious sushi! My go-to order is edamame, avocado rolls, and shrimp tempura rolls. Unfortunately, my partner isn't a fan of sushi, but there are options for him as well, such as a chicken dinner. Thank you for bringing sushi closer to me!
WOW. We were working in town and a local told us we needed to try the sushi, and thank gosh we did! This was some of the best sushi I've ever had. The fish was all high quality, the shrimp tempura was made with fresh home made batter. You cannot compare this to an all you can eat place! We went after a snowstorm and the owner was short staffed, but he let us know that it was going to take a bit longer (we ordered 2 pieces) and you could watch him putting in his full effort to satisfy us. It was easy to give this place 5 stars! If I'm ever out this way again, I'm going there!
The sushi rolls are oversized. The spicy option is not very hot, but still delicious. The glass noodles were not like any I've had before, and the beef was lacking in flavor. However, the server was friendly and it was evident that the owners put in a lot of effort. The portion sizes are decent for the price. I wish they offered an all-you-can-eat option.
I just moved here from the NYC metropolitan area and I was very impressed with the food here! I tried the sashimi appetizer, side of sushi rice, side of tobiko a miso soup. The miso was not what I am used to (I prefer shiro miso with fresh seaweed and this was the red kind with dried seaweed) but other than that it exceeded my expectations for a small town sushi restaurant.
