Whirligigs - Wallace

Had been for breakfast a few times but stopped by for dinner recently. There was a group of 8 and a few tables of 2.I sat down and waited. The waitress was running across the street for ice and the young man hanging out looked at me and ignored me. I waited. The waitress returned and took the large group order. The young man hung out doing little. The waitress delivered a couple of meals.I waited.The young man walked by me and the waitress looked at me as she ran by with drinks.I waited.A man walked in and asked to order take out, which the young man proceeded to do. I had waited for 15 minutes without any acknowledgement. I walked out with little thought of ever returning.

Four of went and we were all impressed with our meals and the service. Highly recommend the beef tenderloin

Great seafood chowder and homemade biscuit. My husband had the lobster roll and really enjoyed it as well. Small menu but they are doing a great job at the selections that they offer. We would definitely make a return visit.

Try the grilled cheese, bacon and tomato sandwich. Also great selection of teas. Deserts and pastries made fresh each day and really yummy!!

We were golfing and staying at Fox Harb'r resort. We went here on a recommendation by one of the staffers who lives in the area for breakfast. I had the classic 2 egg meal and my wife had pancakes and bacon. Order at the counter and food is delivered. Home cooked - just like mom used to make. Coffee is good. Eclectic atmosphere bright and airy! View of the sea. Great staff- very friendly. No credit cards accepted here
