Lefty's Barbeque - Walterhill

Mediocre food and thats probably being to nice. I had the smaple platter and the chicken was dry the ribs had no flavor. Everything tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp. I don't recommend this place.

My families first visit to Lefty's was wonderful in every way. We stopped in to eat around 3:30 pm and they had several customers already seated and eating but we were sat without a wait and a friendly greeting. We ordered a Lefty's house salad with smoked pulled chicken. The salad came with lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, boiled egg, bacon pieces, green bell peppers, and shredded cheese. GREAT food @affordable prices. In addition to the delicious meal, this is what I like about Lefty's on Genesis: Family owned, friendly wait staff, clean restaurant and bathrooms, free homemade chips with meal, homemade cobbler dessert, ambiance with cross-stitch pictures, tables socially distanced w/o crowding. Ease of parking vs Buccee's. Gas at Pilot's next door priced competitively. Due to less traffic, quicker on and off I-40.

Delightful, friendly, unpretentious local BBQ joint. Super clean! Well lit and most important — delicious food. I enjoyed the house made chips and a pork potato. Took some blackberry cobbler for the rest of the road trip back to Nashville. Highly recommend and will visit again!

Great ribs. A fresh crispy side salad. Very hardy, filling stew. Pulled pork loaded baked potato… yummy.
