Chez Lily Cafe - Washington

Just moved into an apt. bldg. steps away from here so, being gluten-intolerant, I really appreciated that you had a gluten-free bakery/food option that I could eat!The GF banana bread was delicious, as was my flat white latte. Such a cute atmosphere and friendly service as well. — Will definitely be back very often I’m sure, especially being so close to me!

I think sandwiches are below average. I got the hummus sandwich and there was barely hummus in it.

The food was not so good and the service was really bad.I don’t recommend

Chez Lily is my favorite coffee shop. The owner is an absolute angel spreading positivity all throughout the shop. It is a great place to sit and get some work done or simply enjoy a good cup of coffee or a light bite. Make sure to try their vibrant coffee as well as their mouthwatering bagels. I LOVE CHEZ LILY!

I really don’t get all the positive reviews Chez Lily has.. every experience I’ve had here has been just okay. I come here as a backup to the other great cafes in the area, and the staff is always cold and doesn’t make eye contact with you. In addition to being uninviting, the last straw was my recent visit when I was overcharged (for no reason) for a flatbread. I looked at my receipt and saw that I was charged for cauliflower crust, olives, and cilantro, none of which I asked for. I’m consistently confused at the bad service and medium quality, but am even more confused now at being charged for things I didn’t ask for!
