10/10 would recommend. I ate there twice this past week and both times their Fettuccine Alfredo and mushroom was one of the best I've had. Must try!!
The food is average but the service is terrible. The server acted annoyed that we were there and it took a long time for her to come over, there were only a couple of people there besides us. We won't go back and there are much better italian restaurants in DC.
It is just okay Italian food. Pricing does not reflect the averageness of what to expect. I have only been for lunch on weekdays when it’s slow (and mostly empty) and yet the food has almost always come out somewhat … room temperature and bland. The cacio e Pepe and bolognese are not worth trying in my opinion. Ravioli and burrata get rave reviews and though I’ve never been, I hear brunch is good here (though there are probably 100s of “good for brunch” places in DC). The service is nice though. Atmosphere is nondescript. I would try another Italian place first, but it’s serviceable enough. From what I’ve seen and heard, it can be a 50/50 toss up.
Food was really good and so was the service. Perhaps the atmosphere ambience could do with some work, but this is a small point. We would definitely return.
