The Patio Cafe - Waskesiu Lake

This is a fantastic spot for a casual dining experience! My partner and I often visit with our two young children who enjoy the kids' nuggets or burgers and fries while we relax and enjoy a drink. The restaurant has a wonderful front terrace as well as a enclosed deck on the side. They also have a convenient ice cream stop on site. An added bonus is the spacious parking area and bike rack out front, as well as amenities like television and wifi. Despite the COVID-19 precautions, we felt very safe as they followed all guidelines and staff only touched what they brought to our table. The staff, who are usually high school students, are friendly and attentive. If we ever need anything, they are quick to assist. In my opinion, their pizza is the best in the city for the price. Just keep in mind that this is a family-friendly, casual dining establishment that is laid-back and easygoing. It may not be fancy, but it's definitely great!

We had one lunch and three breakfasts here during our stay. The food was mostly very good, and the service was always friendly and efficient. I see many reviews complaining about the prices. The prices are high, but they are high everywhere in Waskesiu. I...don't they are high compared with other local places.

It's a nice place for a quick bite, but I just find the prices quite outrageous. I am sure it's inline with other resort towns, but when 3 people go out for fries and gravy and a drink and it's over $30 I just don't know how you justify that.

Great little place for a real cup of coffee in Waskesiu.
