El Pollo Loco - Watsonville

The guy who takes orders speaks very fast and in Spanish. I have nothing against Spanish but I do not speak it. He spoke sometimes with an accent and sometimes without. He was very hard to understand. All I wanted was 3 pieces of chicken for my dogs and 2 tacos. They gave me 6 pieces of chicken, which I threw out 3 and charged me for the 2 sides instead of charging it as a meal. Charged everything separately.i was WAY OVERCHARGED for my order, $28. Be very careful, they see you coming. I've never eaten at an El Pollo and WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!! Food was dry. Way overcharged me... CRAZINESS!!!

Went thru drive thru and they told me that there was a 15 minutes waiting for my food, which I didn't mind at all, but when the order came and I came home, the chicken was really burned and there was hardly any meat on the chicken. I also order the new Beef Birria Tacos and their expensive $11 for two small tacos and the small cup sauce with which it came. They were not good either tasted more like oil then everything and was not fresh, I wish I went back to quite sure that the administration would agree a lot that the chicken was burned!!!

For fast food, this was delish! I?ve never been to an el pollo loco and I was impressed to see them actually grilling raw chickens over fire right there behind the counter! Try the new tapatío fries dipped in the avocado salsa!

The chicken is skin and bones, the beans are a 1/4 cup serving and only warm, the salad is only salad, chips, with a drew of green dressing, and the rice does not taste well. It was an expensive lunch.

OMG this chicken Avocado burrito and chicken nachos was so delicious.. so good we only got pictures at the end. Definitely going back. The chicken was cooked perfectly. ???
