La Prima - Wausau

This food was horrific, spent $40 on two coffees and 3 sandwiches. The coffees were bitter and flavorless, also were charged an extra dollar per coffee to get a single pump of French vanilla flavoring we couldn’t taste. The sandwiches were soggy and smelled incredibly like fermentation. You can see the microwaves they cook everything in right when you walk through the door. The chicken on these sandwiches was as thin as cardboard and tasted that way. Asked for a refund and was only retuned the money for the coffees which was $10 we used to get gas station coffee instead. Never go here for it’s a waste of every cent you spend.

First I tried to call and order but no one answered the phone. When we arrived, We ordered three cold sandwiches and was about a 35 min wait. I would rate the service as trying but inexperienced. Sandwiches were so so and my coffee was cold.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. Friendly and courteous young men were working. Great atmosphere. I ordered the Prima Cobbler, which was delicious. My husband ordered the Italian Beef Su Prima, but didn't really care for it-not much flavor.

Nice place, but absolutely frigid inside. Bring a jacket!

Croissants were delicious but the Italian beef piled high with peppers on a crispy bun had 4 green peppers, no cheese, and definitely not crispy bread.:(We spent 80$ there overall to get home and not be pleased with sandwich results. Wish I could include the photo.Vanilla cappuccinos did not taste anything like vanilla and frankly we 're not good. Cold sandwich was the best, but asked for no tomatoes and still got them.They had multiple signs up for 15% off freezer items. We purchased 2 frozen desserts and did not have discount applied.Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the guys working were friendly.
