The young white woman with short hair was extremely impolite. Other than that, the service was fantastic and the food was delicious.
We opted for Subway for dinner in Wawa since most other restaurants close early. The food was tasty, but the staff member who prepared our sandwich and salad had a sour attitude.
We drove cross-country skiing in a U-Haul and stopped for lunch on the way to Kakabeka Falls to the camp for the night. I have a cold cut combo. About an hour later my stomach began to feel like I swallowed a bag of marble. When the day wore, I was useless and had the flop feet. On that evening I set up the camp fully hallucinating, while I regularly run into the outdoor houses. By midnight, I debated a trip to the Thunder Bay. I finally had to sleep and hardly wake up functionally. I ate two brown bananas for breakfast, pulled the stakes and we continued to Winnipeg, where I convealesced in a hotel. Thanks for the memories, subway!!!
Open at 6 am so great if u want a picnic sandwhich on trails, made to order with toppings. Very clean, owner very friendly, can eat in or take out. This and Tim hortons are the only food franchises in Wawa I could see. Worth...a stop
