Christmas party in a small side room. Since we were a small group, we chose from the menu. Good selection, prices a bit high. The food was good, beautifully presented. The cube on the table provided fun, but service was quick. The restaurant was well attended, the service staff was young and friendly. Unfortunately, special requests such as horseradish sauce were noted but not served. When asked, they said it was being processed, but unfortunately nothing came. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and created a festive atmosphere.
Food drinks: As always we like to come to the restaurant. Very high welfare factor. As regular guests we can recommend everything! Service: 5 Location: 5
..it is not even easy to get a decent meal in the touristic Hochburg Pfalz. On the way back from Pfullingen to Rheine we crossed the Rhine to look past a few winemakers in the Palatinate and refill our wine cellar. So we ratted the families Siegrist, Minges, Sauer and Schreieck and filled the trunk with good drops. We got hungry and planned to return to Deidesheim after I had to find out again that the new kind of expansion at Reichsrat von Buhl still does not affect me or my taste nerves. But even in Deidesheim everything was closed. And in the Bistro 1718, which was open, there was no table left for us. So we made the decision to drive through the villages towards the green city. There should be an open restaurant somewhere. We then had to drive to Weissenheim on the mountain before we got caught. At the entrance of Dürkheim, the 2 wine bars (old and new) on the left and right of the Weisbrodt winery, which were open and well visited, after the parking lot was taken in. When we turned around, the lights of the Hotel Restaurant Speeter were noticed, that we were more satisfied with the ambience. So we parked in the center of town and asked Speeter for a table for 2 people. That was not a problem despite the rainy guest ranks. The guest house extends over several rooms and is furnished from bright modern in the conservatory to the historically graceful dark wood decor. We took place in the central guest room at comfortable chairs and a perfectly covered table with fabric napkins. The cards were handed. The offer ranges from Palatinate wine-growing cuisine with typical local dishes to a vegan offer. Here everyone can be happy with the selection. A very good selection of wines is also offered. Just the light non-regional map with fish and vegetarian dishes could tempt us. We were not so much after the heavy Pfälzer Hauskost, who took the mainly older dominations at the other tables, and that in considerable portion sizes. The choice for both of us fell on the offered Red Beete Carpaccio and Avocado – exciting not only for vegetarians Lightly marinated Red Beet with fresh avocado Tartar and cream Fraiche . The combination of the earthly fresh, not sour-marined red beds with the well-flagged guacamole was outstanding to both of us. Delicious and light. At the main courts we went separate ways, my wife decided for the Lensenrisotto with Limonenbutter and was extremely satisfied with their choice. Above all the cooking point of the Risotto trip was perfectly al dente and it was very well tasted. I also chose a vegetarian dish. For me it should be noodle pastry bags with nut Bolognese, in the map as noodle pastry bags filled with walnut and fig, served with a walnut Bolognese announced. These were good noodle bags filled with a nut-farce, a little sweety tasted. The whole then served with an excellent good tomato sauce, which received a good supplement in the ingredients with fennel and walnuts. ****! By walnuts in consistency almost like a classic Bolognese sauce. My wife ordered the wine-day recommendation to make a dry stalk from the WG Knipser. I stayed with the water as a driver. Well-trained service made pleasure. Cleverly clean and very modern toilets as well. Conclusion: Clear recommendation to return. Here you can go with a good conscience.
