I would add that the dimensioning of the tapas is generous. everyone would be easily enough for a main meal so that we would have ordered less courts. would pay to ask the staff how big the courts they could order. atmosphere fits the type of restaurant. will definitely be back for more!
Absolutely amazing! we waited approx. 1 hour and 50 minutes to sit on place because it was so busy and it was 100% worth waiting! recommend them to all who are looking for a fantastic meal and a fantastic service. will definitely be back.
A popular place waiting in the regular a waiting queue to get a table to dinner. service was slick and safe and the paella not disappointed (nb: this takes 40 minutes to prepare). the crowning glory were the churros. the absolute best I ever tasted! these alone were worth 5 stars.
The first time to try el matador has really impressed with the quality of service and food. large portions, steaks cooked to perfection. 10/10 recommended!
Birthday weekend for the Aucklander, craving for Argentinian BBQ of which we have plenty to chose from up north. El Matador did not disappoint, Sunday evening and our group of 5 needed to wait for an hour and happily ushered to the bar down the back until we could get seated as the place was very busy. The food service, recommended plates were top notch highlights the prawns and parrillada shared platter were amazing thank you so much for the wonderful experience and food. Highly recommended
