Y Ra's Cake Shop Party - Weslaco

Worst tamales I have ever eaten, very salty and not very tasty. I don't know how people believe that they are better than Delia's, as for my family we are sticking with Delia's because they are simply the best. I bought some Ybarras tamales today because I read some good reviews, but let me tell you those reviews were probably written by relatives or were paid to write it, people don't believe the hype. Ybarras Bakery's tamales are not very good. On the website it says masks required, so why wasn't the cashier wearing one? I ate two of their tamales and threw the other ten in the trash. So long Ybarras Bakery my first and only time visiting your establishment.

I've lived here my whole life, I don't understand why there's so many bad reviews. I have never had any problems with them. I love the bakery and the food.

Their custom cakes always taste so good and are very detailed!

The restaurant experience was disappointing. For $15.00 a dozen, the food didn't live up to the price, especially when there are options like Delia's, which charges $8.99 for a dozen. I won’t be returning.

The staff was courteous, the service was excellent, and the cake, particularly the sweet bread, was absolutely delicious.
