This is our third time staying here. Each trip has been 2-3 nights. There’s usually no line at the front desk so check in is speedy. The lobby is well decorated with a modern Minnesotan design. You’ll find multiple areas of seating. If you’re needing a space to work or gather. They have an area to purchase snacks and common items like hygiene products. The bar is fairly small. I will say the bar has limited selections. Only Coors Light. No blender for specialty cocktails. The restaurant has a very limited menu. You’ll find the classics during breakfast like eggs, sausage, juice etc. The dinner menu has items like cheese curds, chicken wild rice, burgers etc. I do have a feeling that a majorly of the food including dinner is pre-made or frozen. We have stayed in a king bedroom twice and a 2 queen bedroom once. The decor is generally the same. The 1 king size bedrooms had a blue pullout couch that we liked to use when watching tv and have seating aside from being in bed. Unfortunately, no microwave in the rooms. Pool and hot tub are good. They also have a gym with updated equipment. Staff is friendly and professional here.
I went to this hotel the night before enlisting in the Marine corps. It had great personnel all friendly people and helpful. It has a pool and very clean rooms. It is in a very convenient location close to all sorts of places in Minneapolis, St Paul. They have a gym, pool and hot tub for any guests in the hotel. They were kind enough to give us a wake up call and served us breakfast at 5:00 AM. I had a great time while I was only there for one night.Food drinks: Breakfast/dinner and a bar for drinks.
This hotel just makes you smile when you walk through the door! It’s so nicely decorated. The pool area was nice and big. No little kid pool. The room was spacious and again, decorated so nice! No free breakfast but they do have a restaurant that looks pretty good. We did not indulge. Would definitely stay here again!
Renaissance is a solid stay anywhere you go. Always priced well, it is a credit to the Bonvoy fleet. This location is quirky and fun. The details of the decor will stand out memorable and are a great conversation piece if you're traveling with others. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and homey. The pool and fitness center are both well kept and have what you need. The lounge has an interesting indoor pool view and is fairly well stocked with snacks and drinks. The breakfast was a simple egg, potato, chicken sausage plate with some toast options which were all pretty good. All in all, it's worth your money to stay here. The only drawbacks are that it was weirdly hard to find water after 9pm. None in the lounge, none up front and only a couple on the store. The second issue came during our event, when they decided to close the mens room at noon for cleaning. Just after checkout, right at lunch time? Some critical thought could have gone into the details.
