First time here. Came for Valentine's dinner. We both had lamb with different sauces. They were delicious.
This Indian restaurant has the best atmosphere out of all the ones I've visited, and the food is outstanding too! It's definitely one of Cincinnati's best-kept secrets.
All around fantastic experience! Went on a Thursday night and made reservations with the Open Table App. The reservations weren 't necessary but the availability is there. First off, the place is gorgeous. Really gorgeous. Very beautifully decorated, nice water feature in the front lobby area and very nice seating. Standard size and large booths. Full bar with seating at the bar as well. You could go casual, business casual or formal to Haveli and not feel out of place either way. The food was well priced. Slightly on the higher side but well worth it. If you don 't mind paying good money for good food, then you won 't have a problem with it. I wouldn 't quite call it expensive but for three meals, naan bread, drinks and no appetizers, the bill came to about $75. Just to give you an idea. The food was fantastic. One of my staple first time trial Indian dishes that I order at an Indian restaurant is lamb korma. It tells me that quality of meat they use and gives me an idea of one of their well seasoned recipes. Perfect! One of the best kormas that I have had in a while. Great flavor, great seasoning and the lamb was beautiful. Is there naan breads are very tasty and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals also. Would I go back? Yes. Definitely. I 'm very much looking forward to going back, bringing friends there and telling people about this new restaurant. Visit their website and you can read a little bit of their background. The owner chef, Mani, came out and said hello to us before we left. We enjoyed a conversation with him and he gave us a little history of the restaurant and their successful beginning in Iowa City, Iowa. It was a pleasure speaking with him and I look forward to seeing him again soon.
The food is delicious. Great variety from the traditional Indian cousine.
