I understand why people often come here at the weekend. it is a wonderful little sacred, where you can catch up with good friends or just think about something while you have a meal. the prices are a bit high, but overall it is good. I would rather pay a little more to have a great experience than a little less to talk about 3 women with children who speak about their children preschool, and coworkers who are not harassed to be there.
Great moods to just come together and talk to friends they didn't see in the awhile. the service was slow, the love for detail is not there. water was never filled again, I had to ask each time, table was wobbly, there was a chip in my double-stone glass, I had to send it back (they accused me for both drinks,) the second waiter has forgotten our entire order. the runner (might was new) has kept us falling food we did not order. if we weren't super in our conversation, and the atmosphere wasn't so warm, I would have rated it differently. our initial waiter phil has really thought out, although he took my cripples and built them out, instead of going back and forth, at the end we have left happy, but the staff needs more training or maybe they just need to be attentive.
Had a great Sunday brunch with my friends and family. beautiful seats in an atrium diffuse lighting, good eating, good drinks. really enjoyed. not too busy.
Myself and my friend were treated like absolute queens. Made our experience so special we couldn’t stop beaming. So, so, so beautiful too! Absolutely recommend seating outside.
Hard to beat history and ambiance of this place. Food was very well done too: interesting menu options like ricotta toast with lavender honey. Straight up hamburger was excellent one of the best I've ever had. Service was on it. Patio is a little oasis in the city.
