Momento offers delicious cuisine, exceptional service and an elegant ambience perfect for the finest of the restaurant! Alberto, Leon and her team have held private celebrations and events for my family for years – and their food and hospitality have added an additional note of excellence to each of these occasions. I recommend Momento!!
WEDDING REVIEW (But also a frequent visitor of the restaurant! Jake and I are so overwhelmed by the crowd Leon, Alberto and Arta. We were definitely nervous to know that Momento is not a wedding place to have our celebration here, but to be that we have eaten here a dozen or so often, we knew that we trusted the food and would adapt everything else. Whatever we imagined, Arta, Leon and Alberto wanted to take place. We wanted long tables, they did it. We wanted string lights hanging over the dance floor, they hung them up for us. You spent weeks making everything perfect and calming us down in the weeks despite my fear. They hung chandeliers to make the tent look classy, they custom a menu for us from beginning to end, and they provided the right amount of staff for our 85 person wedding. Thanks Leon for your stay in the night before to make sure that our day was nothing short of perfect.
After hundreds of reviews you would think it will be easier... lol NOT. It becomes more difficult because you tend to be repetic and it becomes more difficult to distinguish how to describe the good from the better. Now this is an amazing experience from the moment you park your vehicle. At first it is a hike to the forest to find our venue, but it is a nice ride. Once you come to the restaurant, feel like your driving into an estate with a very nice entrance, but if you move up and see the arcade with the beautiful green, it will be a wedding feeling. Yeah, no word, it makes sense. The greeting as you go into changes, we were greeted by the owner who was very nice and welcoming. We sat down and started the evening. We started with filled mushrooms and moved on to our Entrées. My fiancée had Lobster Ravioli with a Rose Champagne sauce that was incredibly good. I had the parpadelle Ragu cut with actual fillet Mignon and served as an amazing Ragu. Of course we had a beautiful bottle of Boen Pinot Noir and our dessert was an incredible bread pudding and French homemade Macaroons. Wow, we'll definitely come back and we'll do our next Foodie Club experience. It was great.
I'm always a little empty looking for new places because my other half can be easy to please in the restaurant industry after years. We went to the recommendation of friends for the birthday of my fiancées tonight... it didn't disappoint! From the moment we went to the door until the moment we left, everything was perfect except the weather outside. Leon was such a gracious host who has personality for days and really felt like family. The entire staff interacted seamlessly with each other and all guests. And then there was food!!! Everything was on site and delicious! I would not have cooked after a better steak bone in dry aged ribeye to moderately rare perfection! My fiancée seafood fra diavolo was incredible... no overcooked seafood in sight. We had such an amazing experience and cannot wait to go back!
If you're on the fence between going here, Momentos, or another place, go with Momentos! The service and kindness of the employees was unmatched in my experience. The owner was kind and genial. The food was absolutely to die for. I have never had a steak *that* good! And huge! Oh my lanta it was massive! And the mashed potatos, oh my god.... they were so good too! I also did not realize carrots and zucchini could taste that amazing. I would gladly go back occasionally just for a plate of their carrots and zucchini! They were that good! I would go back in a heartbeat! My partner got their special with SeaBass and scallops and shrimp. He echoed my sentiments about the rib eye steak, saying that the scallop and bass melted in his mouth before he even started chewing. The staff even introduced us to their new barmaid, and her drinks are spot on! Everything else was so delicious we had to try one of her specials. So she made us pink grapefruit and basil martinis and they did not disappoint! Be warned, it is expensive, but you'll leave after astounded and definitely want to go back!
