The freshness, flavors, and quality in unrivaled by any other kind of food to me. I was leaving a concert at the Wellmont theatre and decided to get a quick bite after the show. Wonderful! A 4.5 star Thai restaurant is close by! I get my usual, thai iced tea with drunken noodles. First of all, no ice in the tea. So I get a somewhat cold glass of what tasted like powdery milk. Drank a few sips and didn't finish it. Okay, I've had bad ice tea before but the drunken noodles usually pull through. Wrong. I'm not even sure you can call this drunken noodles. I struggled through half of it and threw the rest out. Boiled carrots, crunchy canned-looking green beans, pale chicken, and odd translucent sweet potato noodles with a bland sauce that wasn't even remotely spicy. One word to describe the food here: Abysmal.
The Pad Thai had frozen vegetables, barely any sauce, and the noodles were clumped together. It was $9 for a reason.
Ordered dinner last night and everything was exceptional. The food was made to order and fresh. The Red Thai curry, pineapple fried rice, and coconut shrimp all tasted great. Give this little gem a chance.
Very good, light touch on the sauces and dishes, fresh ingredients and very good.
Simple Thai with a nice home-cooked quality. I had the Tom Kha Chicken soup, Penang Curry, Beef with Basil Sauce. Simply cooked with fresh crunchy vegetables and freshly steamed rice. Not overly oily or heavy. I will definitely be back!
