Mcalister's Deli - West Point

I tried to order takeout on my way through West Point by calling in my order. McAlister's setup a TELEPROMPT system for call-in orders and then added a 3% convenience fee for ordering by phone. No thanks.

Terrible service.. walked in told the lady at the counter I was ready to order, she barely looked up from her phone-pointed to the empty register next to her, kept playing on her phone for another 30 seconds.. and then stepped over and took my order. When it came time for my order to be ready, they only brought half (which I get it happens) but then after watching 3 others get their food I asked if they were still working on my wrap, to which they replied “oh no, did you not get it?” She told someone quickly to make it but then went back to playing on TikTok very loudly at the register.. so unprofessional, it was such a bother for her to look up from her phone to do her job.

Long wait. Staff uninterested when asked about time after 30 minutes of waiting. Many cancelled orders of called in orders. Staff encouraged cancelling orders. Spuds cold when we received them. Staff said fountain drinks were bad so ordered water, never given. Very disappointed.

Best McAlister’s I’ve ever been too. Food was delicious. Clean environment the staff was very friendly.

I ordered the Angus baked potatoe. I wasn't expecting the Angus to be slices. The potato would have been much better if the Angus was cut into pieces.
