Kings Bento - West Slope

My first time here. I got the chicken teriyaki and it was amazing. My new favorite spot.

I love coming here. The food is always warm and served quickly, even when they are busy. The lady at the register is very kind. She even helped me box my food up when I had left overs. The restaurant is clean, has clean bathrooms and who ever is in charge of the music has a great playlist! Im vegetarian so I can't say much about the meats or shrimp but the veggies are always crisp and fresh, the rice is good and the tofu has great texture!

First time I came here the food was great total 4-5 star. next 3 times have been pretty unappetizing and this is coming from someone who isn't picky. I feel like there is a cook here that isn't actually trained and is cutting corners without the owner knowing. veggies taste and texture are like they've been left out, not freshly cooked, enough so I didnt want to finish the whole bowl which is rare for me. the salmon I ordered was incredibly dry and beef I've gotten previously had the taste and texture of being boiled. I feel like these are things that wouldnt fly with the owners.. idk if they know or if the cook behind the counter is cutting corners and getting away with it. With that cook Its a 2-3 star. not worth 15-20$ with a different cook on shift it's spot on totally worth it. right now it depends on who's cooking

Kid-friendliness: They were friendly towards kidsThe service and food was good had me licking my fingers, dosent take much talking to order, the food took 5-10 minutes to come out. the food exceeded my expectations. Overall 10/10 experience
