Yanaki Sushi - West Van Canada

This place is tiny and great for their lunch specials, best sushi in west van I think. They've been there for years, time to change up the menu a bit and get creative

Another hidden gem. There are so many sushi places in Vancouver, you never know where to go if you want to try something new. This place is all the way out in West Van but totally worth the trek! Oh My Goodness, the specialty sushi rolls are to die for! we tried about 7 different kinds and it was too difficult to choose which one was our favorite because they were ALL soaked in perfection. We also tried many other small appetizers and their salmon and toro sashimi, very fresh and yummy! It is a small place and only one server but service is superb, the place is quite homely you can tell it is a family run business

Best service ever!. The sushi was really fresh and the service was great. We happened to walk in 20mins before closing and the sushi chef Dave was friendly and didn't hesitate to unwrap the sushi and make us a take out order. We felt so bad that he would have to redo all the closing on the line all over again, but the server there was super friendly and reassured us that it was ok. Very nice people and awesome sushi. Wish they were open past 9pm, but will definitely try to make it there again after work sometime soon!

Very GOOD. Very good sushi, one of the best in west van. Their Gomaee is amazing!
