Bon's Off Broadway - West Vancouver

Back to Bon's after over two years away because of the pandemic. Things seem to be normal for most parts, except the prices are high. I and my friend came for under $10 for 2 breakfast and coffee and tea. Now average about $17 22.00 depending on what you order. They are back to help for coffee refills. We have been regular since spring 2022. We're going weekly.

Breakfast specifically for 2 and coffee comes to 12 dollars, its sitdown and some people do not realize that you will get up to your refills if you want them faster, its only does not allow the coffee bar lol. The same for the water. Breakfast special...will be in only Ham or Veg form now due to absurd inflation atm. Veg version comes with the usual, but you can have extra egg orrrrrrrrrrrrkoffeln instead of ham. Three eggs, in heaven. Yes, inside is punk, but still comfortable. The latter is. Get it as long as you can.

I was regularly at bon’s about 30 years ago. breakfast was good and cheap, and the decor was decent with old film posters and framed photos of personalities on the wall. no longer. the place has got into a descended baptism. mist. the $2.95 breakfast. no more choice of meat. just a piece of sandwich ham. the roasted carrots were only the skin they cut off to fry with the rest and burned to the devil. everything I could taste was char. You can't even get white toast. no option at $2.95. the device. each surface in the restaurant (including the washrooms) is marked with the most divine graffiti. it looks dirty. the only washroom door is broken they must keep it closed with a hand while they do their business. the bill...$6 for a $2.95 breakfast and a coffee. $3,05 for a coffee? **** coffee costs more than the breakfast. Thank you, I didn't get the refill offered. I might have to take a second hypothec. for all costs. you will thank me later.

Great food and ingenious service! it is the place to eat breakfast! appropriate to super cheap for what they are offered to eat. yum yum and ive have never been here, but I will be back. do not forget the waitress please

First I want to start by saying I 've been going to Bon 's for about 15 years now and absolutely love it. My one star review is not reflecting the restaurant as a whole, but one particular server. There is an older blonde female server who...is an absolute nightmare. Bon 's is not a quiet place but somehow she is able to be the loudest thing in the restaurant. She 's ruined multiple meals I 've had with her booming voice and overall rude demeanour you can hear her no matter where you are and she never shuts up. I 've witnessed her yelling at seniors/fighting with costumers, adding tips for herself to bills without telling the costumer, telling costumers not to come back when they respond to her being rude. She is completely manipulative, off putting, and has no respect. Today alone I witnessed her rudely speaking (I say this in quotes as she never speaks so much as yells EVERYTHING) to a senior costumer, telling them not to come back when all the costumer did was ask her not to yell in their face while they were paying. She 's a entirely unpleasant individual who makes me not want to return to the restaurant and I can 't for the life of me understand how she is able to keep her job when she is consistently being untrustworthy and discourteous. I know numerous people who avoid being in her section due to her sketchy and horrible treatment of costumers, and I can 't imagine that she hasn 't been costing the restaurant business all the while she 'll have the fakest smile on her face. Furthermore, she is the only server I 've ever witness acting this way, everyone else who works at Bon 's is respectful and friendly. She should be fired.
