The two restaurants where we were in the evening were the diakopes and the Leogrande. The top renovated diakopes is located on a campsite, 1-2km from the centre. The food was very, very good, and service and the chef, who presented himself briefly at all guests, very friendly. We had grossalate and a very delicate pork fillet Metaxasauce, both highly recommended. Prices were more than reasonable for quality.
The restaurant Diakopes is right next to a large motorhome parking. Because many guests had to expect, we had ordered a table for dinner. You could eat either in the cozy guest room or in a large attached tent, but in which it was well heated. We chose the tent. The staff was friendly and quick. We quickly got the card and our red wine. As food we ordered Souvlaki and Bifteki-Gemisto. Unfortunately, both tasted rather boring. The meat was not seasoned and the pumice were soft and saltless. A dessert with quark, honey and walnuts tasted good. Due to a gravure area with heavy rain and storm blows, the tent construction gave everything to not fly away. At times, the rain drummed so loudly against the tent plans that we could only entertain ourselves in increased volume. Still, we like to come back.
We ordered a table for 6:00 and were there on time. Card and the first drink came quite quickly. We waited for the main dish for 1.5 hours. The second beer was only on call, because no one came to the table from the staff to ask if everything is okay. I had a glass of wine in two stds, since I unfortunately don't see the sense of calling behind the staff. All glasses were touched by the staff with the hand, which is quite questionable at Corona times. Serving drinks on a tray would be advantageous here. Quality of food was great, which unfortunately does not compensate for the rest of the evening. The visitors around us were unfortunately of the same opinion. Maybe we just got a bad day, but under these conditions we wouldn't come back, which is really bad, because the upcoming WoMo pitch is really great.
Ambience is cozy, staff is courteous and very friendly, the dishes are very appealing and we tasted it very good!
Have never got such a salad in a Greek with a Majonaisendressing,no herb,Gurken,Tomaten sheep cheese,Essig, oil, etc as you used it. The Zasiki consisted of 2 small shaped ice portions balls) 4 €.90 .The pommes were counted. The only positive was the nice friendly service as well as the meat juicy and tasteful
