I lived nearby and ate here a lot, and now I live very far away. I was at the mission Viejo hospital over the weekend and decided to leave me very important for the last time someone, and on my way back to Pismo I decided to stop. Every single bite had me smiling, and for at least 30 minutes I was no longer sad, I was really happy. So thank you, Top Baguette, never stop being the absolute best sandwich shop.
The first time in this place. Ordnete the Rotisserie Chickenbahn mi and added their combo containing 4 egg rolls, 1 Pate Chaud and a soda. Total was $7,50. Super reasonable price. The owner was very friendly and nice. The egg roll was very tasteful, so was her sandwich. They don't care about the meat. The Pate-Chaud (first time that things ever) was soft and flaky.
This place has fresh tasty banh mi for a reasonable price. We also tried her vegetarian and chicken egg rolls, and Pate Gebäck. All were very tasty, especially roasted. I'll be there next week to try their spring rolls.
The hotel is located in a small square on the corner of Magnolia and Bolsa Ave. Parking is a pain. Lol. You're lucky if you find one. In the shop looks modern and clean. I ordered 2 types of sandwiches: a grilled beef, a grilled chicken and a few Pate Chaud (Puffy pastry pig and chicken). Loves his grilled beef sandwich, very tasty. The aroma and taste of lemongrass is only heavenly good. Baguette was crispy. Beef became tender and juicy. While I like the beef sandwich, but not so much on chicken sandwich. Although it was tender and juicy, but no taste compared to beef. I'll skip the next time. All trimmings such as slices Gurke, carrot and daikon Pickles, slices Jalapeños and Cilantro were fresh. Father Chaud was good. Very delicious on chicken and pig. Service was friendly.
My go-to banh mi spot! I drive 15 miles to go here and it is worth every mile. The way they make their sandwiches reminds me of the kind I grew up with. I don’t eat pork so the beef and sardine are my favorite sandwiches. I recommend getting the fried egg on the beef banh mi. The bread is made in house, is crispy and soft at the same time. I especially love how clean the place is and how they prepare the sandwiches. They don’t mix utensils and always change gloves each time. The people are also friendly. I can’t recommend this place enough.
