Merino's Seafood Market - Westport

Great fish-and-chips no matter what fish you decide on. Clam chowder is some of the best I've ever had. Great customer service. Mervin's a cool cat!

Walk the beach and town then eat Halibut from Merinos. A perfect day!

Seafood doesn't get any fresher than this! There was a bit of a wait for the food when we were there, but that's because there were a lot of hungry people and very few employees working. We were given a little buzzer to let us know when food was ready. Got the lingcod fish and chips basket and the fish was the star of the show. Hot, fresh, delicious. The tartar sauce was great as well and every table had a bottle of malt vinegar. The fries were so-so, but let's be real. You don't order fish and chips for the chips. No complaints, would love to eat here again!

BEST CLAM CHOWDER We tried most, if not all, of the chowders in the area and this was the best hands down. Fresh seafood for a reasonable price. Want to come back asap!
