The Wild Wood Bistro & Bar - Whistler

The long-haired server at this restaurant has been there for years, but his customer service is below par. He is rude, and my friends and I have had multiple bad experiences, so we will not be returning.

My wife, children, and I decided to leave the restaurant right after our plates were cleared. I have never experienced such rudeness and aggression before. Although the rustic, ski lodge atmosphere was nice, the food selection was just okay. Unfortunately, our meals were not satisfying. After we finished, the server gestured for us to leave by motioning towards the door. When my teenage daughter ordered a coffee (which I found charming at first), I suggested we sit for a moment so she could enjoy it. However, the server/managers abruptly informed us it was time to go. When I mentioned my daughter had just received her coffee, he replied that he could bring a to-go cup. With two customers waiting for tables, they rushed us out. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant, especially when dining with my family. This establishment does not deserve to stay in business.

I got takeout from Sage Chicken in Wildwood today and it seems like things have gone downhill. I hadn't been to this restaurant in over a year and unfortunately, the meal I had today was terrible, especially the Chicken Quesadilla which made me feel sick for the remainder of the day. The restaurant wasn't as busy as it used to be, with only about 12 people there. It seems like the popularity of this place has dwindled and I fear that it will soon be forgotten.

Win it an attempt due to some of the very positive reviews here on TripAdvisor and we found it average best for breakfast Our server in the morning we were there moderate and not interested For me, the place could have some spruce...up and reasonable price

My lunch dining experience of asparagus soup and salad proved to be costly ! The soup was tasty but needed crackers which , according to the unconcerning server , were not included, nor available . Accompanied was a very small portioned salad with an extra...added topping of prawns at an additional cost of $8.00 . I never would of ordered had I known that the prawns would only be a scant drizzle. I would not recommend this eatery in comparison to other fine quality ones we found during our visit.
